Cabot FC is now AFC Cabot

⚽️ Big News: Cabot FC is merging with AFC!

Since we started in 2024, Cabot FC has been all about keeping competitive soccer right here at home. In just two years, we’ve grown to over 120 players and 8 coaches. It’s been an incredible start, and we’re so grateful to Cabot Parks & Rec for helping us get off the ground.

To really take the next step and give our players and coaches the support they need, we’ve decided to move in a new direction. Starting Summer 2026, Cabot FC will be merging with Arkansas Futbol Club (AFC) to become AFC Cabot!

What does this mean for our families?

For the 2026-27 season, your daily routine isn’t changing. Practices and home games will stay right here in Cabot. Why the move?

By joining AFC, we gain the professional and structured leadership we’ve been looking for—including an Executive Director, a Director of Coaching, and a Board of Directors. This move gives our players and coaches a level of support and stability that will help the club thrive long-term.

The Benefits:

    •    More Playing Opportunities: With AFC locations in Benton and Plaza Frida, our players have more chances to get on the pitch within the same club network, without the hassle of guest-playing paperwork.

    •    Top-Tier Competition: AFC’s top teams currently compete in ACSL Division 1 and the Gold divisions of major tournaments.

    •    Club Growth: We will now have access to club-wide fundraising and sponsorship opportunities to help support our teams and facilities.
